So you’re thinking about making the switch to Earthrings?

Let’s explore your options.

Earthrings are your competitively priced solution.

You’re ready to think outside the carton and revolutionize your beverage packaging, but you can’t make that leap without understanding the cost—we get it! Tanking your business in the quest for sustainability isn’t good for anyone.

Fortunately for you, your loyal fans, and the Earth, you don’t have to choose between saving the world and breaking the bank: Earthrings are your competitively priced solution.

Let’s get into pricing details so we can get you on the path to sustainability ASAP.

Earthrings: Cost Per Unit

Here’s the skinny: We’re the least expensive non-plastic alternative. By. Far.

We’ve built a high-quality, affordable product to meet an increasing demand for sustainability, and we’re proud to share it with you in the following options:

  • Six-pack

  • Eight-pack

  • Eight-pack as two four-packs

  • Sleek six-pack

  • Sleek four-pack

Price Range: 12.5 cents to 15.5 cents

Larger orders are as low as 12.5 cents per unit, with smaller shipments up to 15.5 cents. Sleeks and four-packs are even less expensive.

The Competition

Yes, there are other packaging options, but we believe Earthrings are so unique that they’re in a class of their own.

While we don’t consider the following competition, this is how we compare to:

  • Cardboard cartons: 24 to 25 cents per unit—double the cost of Earthrings.

  • Hard Plastic Rings: 16.5 cents compared to our 12.5—you’re saving 30% with Earthrings.

Applicators: Sizes, Speeds, and Rates

Properly packaging your cans with Earthrings requires a specific applicator, so you’ll need to purchase a hand applicator, case-packer, or high-speed applicator, depending on the size of your operation, to apply your gorgeous new packaging.

Hand Applicators: Small-Scale and Efficient

If you’re a smaller brewery, our hand applicators are an easy, cost-effective solution for processing up to two six-packs per minute.

Our six-packer hand applicator is equipped to package six-packs, eight-packs, and two four-packs, with all options available when you purchase. You’ll operate the machine by placing six (or eight) cans on a base, add the ring to the platen, then pushing a lever to apply the rings.

Case Packer: Automation for Larger Operations

For those Goldilocks breweries—not too big, not too small—the case packer applicator is our in-between solution. Earthrings’ case packer can process 24 cans at a time, working at a rate of up to two cases per minute.

Because we value your safety above anything else, our applicator comes in two versions. Our pneumatic version is operated with the push of a button, and our manual version is operated by pulling a lever to create the force to apply the rings. They are reliable, powerful, and safe options for mid-volume production.

High-Speed Applicators: For the Biggest Players

Breweries with the highest level of output have two applicator options, the CB350 at 150 CPM, and the CB450 at 300 CPM.

Both of these systems are designed for maximum efficiency, with the CB450 capable of producing a six-pack every 1.2 seconds or 50 six-packs per minute. Because our paper- based rings don’t have any give—unlike plastic, which can stretch—these applicators have to be highly sophisticated. Servo-driven, their movement is electronically controlled with exacting precision, so every Earthring is nice and snug (and perfectly applied).

Need an even heftier solution? We recommend installing two of these machines, doubling your output.

Price Range

All our units are designed to last (nearly) forever, so they’re an excellent long-term investment for small breweries. Their robust quality only contributes to your hunt for sustainability—no need to replace them regularly and add to the garbage heap.

All models come with a six-pack platen, with eight and sleek platens available, and all are capable of doing 12 oz. and 16 oz. cans with our quick changeover.

Which Earthrings applicator is right for me?

Lucky for all of us, this is pretty simple to determine: Our experts will ask you what your filler/seamer is capable of and recommend an applicator to match.

The Bottom Line

Earthrings understands how difficult it is to run a brewery. We know you want to innovate fresh flavors, delight and surprise your customers, run a successful business, AND do good for the Earth—a herculean task!

Fortunately, we’re a low-cost, durable, good-looking, sustainable option for you and your beer, so your packaging can be just as good as the beer inside it.

Cheers to that.
